Today, both parents and the children attend classes, seeking skills to help them assimilate into the Cowra community and to give them a future in their new homeland.
Their life is so different to their previous experiences and they can now hope for a good life for their four children here in Australia.

Illness has been a costly experience for a family of four from Orange. Medical bills and the difficulty of keeping full time employment due to illness kept the family in rented accommodation over the past 10 years.
Unable to save, with ongoing medical bills, it has been a never ending cycle.
The family found out about Habitat for Humanity through their church. They “thought it would be too hard and that they wouldn’t have a chance”, but ultimately found they were one of the successful applicants.
