Welcome to Habitat for Humanity New South Wales.

In the past 30 years more than 285,000 simple, decent homes have been built throughout the world by Habitat for Humanity. With a no profit loan, 500 hours family labour and volunteer support – it’s a proven concept that works time and time again.

Every day more than 1 million people around the world share in the work of Habitat for Humanity, as volunteers, as home owners, as builders, planners, donors and partners.

Habitat’s mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. With a safe and decent place to live families feel strong, proud and whole. They stand up straighter, they dare to dream and plan for their children’s future ... they have hope.

About Us

We are serving a growing number of New South Wales families through innovative partnerships and community involvement. We have completed thirty three houses in New South Wales and have a further twelve homes in the pipeline. This includes a significant partnership initiative with the New South Wales Government in Bidwill. This initiative project involves Landcom and Housing NSW in the delivery of eight new affordable homes to low income families. We are working towards building a program of scale to deliver many affordable housing solutions each year.
